Printable Homework ("the app," "we," "our") is developed by Purple Rhino Studios. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the app.
The short version: we don't collect anything. Everything the app creates — worksheets, scanned answers, grades, and progress history — stays on your device, or in your own private iCloud account if you turn on sync. We never see it, store it on our own servers, or share it with anyone.
Printable Homework generates practice worksheets and, if you choose to scan a completed sheet, reads the handwritten or marked answers using on-device technology to grade it automatically. That scanning and grading happens entirely on your iPhone or iPad — no image, answer, or worksheet is ever uploaded to us or to any third party.
The app requests camera access only to let you photograph a worksheet your child has already completed on paper. Photos are processed on-device for grading and are not saved to your Photos library or sent anywhere unless you explicitly choose to share or print a document yourself.
If you turn on iCloud Sync in Settings, your worksheets and progress data are stored in your own private iCloud account (via Apple's CloudKit), so they stay in sync across your own devices signed into that account. This data is encrypted and managed by Apple under Apple's own privacy terms — we do not have access to it, and turning sync on does not send any data to us.
If you choose to share a child's progress with another parent, the app creates a file that you send yourself — by Messages, Mail, AirDrop, or another method you choose. We are not involved in that transfer and never receive a copy.
The app offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock unlimited worksheet generation. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we do not receive or store your payment information.
We do not collect, transmit, or have access to: • Your child's name, photo, schoolwork, or grades • Your name, email, or contact information • Your location • Any analytics, advertising identifiers, or usage tracking • Any data at all, from any user, for any purpose
The app has no user accounts, no login, and no servers of our own that store your information.
Printable Homework is designed for use by parents on behalf of their children, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. No account creation, chat, advertising, or in-app communication features exist in the app. All content a child interacts with (worksheets, scanned photos, scores) is stored only on the parent's own device or private iCloud account, never transmitted to us.
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
